Delaying Midnight
It is 10:42 pm. October 1. The last 90 days of 2019. And I need to do something.
I like setting goals for the first of the month, or Mondays, or even counts of 30-60-90 days. This last run is perfect, as I get to close out a year having achieved a goal and start a new year feeling accomplished.
So whats the problem? Exercise! Thats one of the things I set out to do today, but so many excuses popped up. other than just being my usually tired and lazy, I ordered a treadmill and its not here in time, so of course there is no other workout on the planet I'm interested in doing. But I will. Maybe at 11:28 I will crawl across to the wretched bowflex and force myself to complete a few revolutions with my legs while I lose myself in Netflix or a podcast.
This blog post is my fail safe. I'm clever like that. Who wants to wake up on October 2, without accomplising at least one thing? So I can check this off.
I didn't eat right, and may or may not exercise, but I started my blog writing habit.
