Worth the wait

the path would seem so clear

the day was always near

I never thought I’d be 

sitting lonely for so long

But now that I’m awake 

and can hold you in my arms

I can see

was worth the wait.

we lived a life of passion

our days were filled with glee

But now that I’m awake 

and feel the peace and love we share

I’m all you need and more

But soon I’ll be awake,
