About
Hey, I'm Debbie.
I'm Jamaican, living in North Carolina with my husband, Marcus.
I'm the founder of Realth, an industry category for relational and emotional health, the third pillar alongside health and wealth.
MyRealth is where I turn that idea into practical tools. I created the Realth Assessment at myRealth.com, along with frameworks designed to help people understand where they stand and strengthen how they relate to themselves, other people, and the life they are building.
I'm also the person my book describes.
I studied Management Studies at UWI, Mona, trained as a coach with Robbins-Madanes, and have since spent years building assessments, guides, videos, workshops, and books.
Then filing much of it away where nobody could see it.
I kept building, refining, and preparing while avoiding the part where other people could actually see what I had made.
The Work You Hide came from finally facing that pattern and asking why capable people can create meaningful work, yet still struggle to put it into the world.
It comes out October 19.
Every Friday, I share The Veranda, my newsletter.
This season, it includes one passage from the book each week, with a note about being seen.
Where I come from, the veranda is where you sit while the neighborhood passes by. It is the space between private and public. You can see and be seen.
Come sit with me on The Veranda.
Deb.
