Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is The Work You Hide about?
It is a book about a specific kind of stuck: the capable person who finishes meaningful work and then quietly files it away where no one can see it. It traces where the pattern comes from, what it costs, and how to move from the workshop to the world.
When does the book come out?
The Work You Hide is out October 19. Every Friday before release, the newsletter shares one passage from it with a short note about being seen.
What are the worksheets?
Four free companion worksheets built to help you get out of the workshop and be seen: a folder audit, a readiness check, a 30-day plan, and a question-and-action set for each part of the book.
What is The Veranda?
The Veranda is Debbie Johnson's weekly newsletter. This season it includes one passage from the book each week, plus a note about being seen. The name comes from the Jamaican veranda: the space between private and public, where you can see and be seen.
What is Realth?
Realth is an industry category for relational and emotional wellbeing, the third pillar alongside physical health and financial wealth. The book and the worksheets grow out of this idea, because the decision to hide or show your work is a matter of how you relate to being seen.
How do I get the worksheets?
The four worksheets are free. Sign up through the form on the Folder page and they arrive with the newsletter.
